Asset Types


How to create new Asset Type
  1. Click on "Create new Asset type" option.
  2. Click on "+ Add Field Group".
    • To proceed, please provide a name for the field group and then select the save option.

    • Note :

    1. The user has the flexibility to create as many Field groups as they need according to their requirements.
    2. By selecting the "Edit" option, the user can modify the name of the Field group.
    3. The user has the ability to delete a Field group by clicking on the Delete option.
  • Please select the field group that you have previously created. For example, if you had created a field group named "Info", please click on that specific field group to proceed.

  • Once you have selected the desired field group, please proceed to add the required number of properties by providing the necessary information such as field name, data type, and default values. Once all the information is entered, please click on the "save" button to confirm the changes.

Adding Additional properties

  • To add Additional properties, follow these steps.

    1. Input the Field value.
    2. Select the Data Type.
    3. If needed, input the Default value.
    4. To save the changes, click on the Save button.
  • If you wish to add more, select Add Properties.

  • To delete it, simply click on the "Delete Icon".

Additional Properties - Creating Cascaded Dropdown

  • To add a cascading Dropdown, follow these steps.

    1. Input the Field name (e.g. Parent), choose Dropdown as the Data type, and input the comma-separated values in the Default values section.

    2. Next, click on the Add Properties button.

    3. Input the field name (e.g. State)Select the Cascading Dropdown option from the Data Type dropdown menu and then click on the Build button.

    4. Next, choose the parent Dropdown (e.g. Parent).

    5. After selecting the parent Dropdown, the values provided in the Default field for that specific Dropdown will be displayed. Then, input the child options as comma-separated values.

    6. To save the changes made in the "Build cascading dropdown" pop-up page, click on the "Done" button.

  • By clicking on the "Clear & Back" button, the selected "Parent Dropdown" will be cleared, and the user will be directed back to the previous pop-up page.

  • If the "Is Repeatable" checkbox is checked, it enables the user to add multiple fields on the "Create Asset" page using the "Add" button.

  • Tag :

    • A Tag is utilized to establish a connection between an asset and its corresponding asset type. Input the Tag values separated by commas.
    • The user is able to create their own Tag names based on their specific needs.
  • Clicking on the "Export to Excel" option will download an Excel file containing all the available asset types.

Actions
  1. Edit

    • To modify an Asset type, select the Actions button for the specific asset type, and then choose the Edit option.
    • Select the Fields group that needs to be modified in terms of additional properties, for instance, "Info".
    • Modify the "General details" and "Additional properties".
    • Click the Save button to save the changes.
  2. Share With

    • To share an asset type with a business partner, click on the "Share With" option under the Actions menu.
    • After clicking on the "Share with" option in Actions, a pop-up window for selecting a business associate will be displayed. From there, select the desired business associate with whom you want to share the asset type.
    • Click on "Yes" button.
  3. Delete

    • To remove an asset type, select the delete option from the actions button.
    • To confirm the deletion of an asset type, click on the "Yes" button.

Search

  • To search for specific information, you can either use the search bar or access advanced search filters by clicking on "Show Advanced Filters".
  • In the advanced filter section, you can specify details such as
  1. Name.
  2. Created Date (From date and To date)
  • To hide the Advanced filter, simply click on the "Hide advanced filters" button.
